Freewheelers EVS, Blood Bikes are the unsung Heroes of Emergency Care and they will be with us on Saturday.
Blood Bikes are volunteer-run motorcycle services that transport urgent medical supplies such as blood, plasma, platelets, and donor breast milk between hospitals, laboratories, and clinics.
Operating across the UK, these riders provide a vital link in the healthcare chain, often working through the night and in challenging conditions to ensure life-saving materials reach patients swiftly.
Their distinctive high-visibility bikes, marked with the word “BLOOD”, symbolize dedication and compassion — a testament to how community volunteers can make a profound difference in emergency medicine.
