Destination: Vivary Park, Upper High Street, Taunton, TA1 3SX. The main pedestrian entrance is at the top of the High Street. Follow the event signs and steward directions when you arrive.
By Car (Park & Ride)
Visitors are strongly encouraged to use Taunton Park and Ride, as town-centre parking is expected to be extremely busy.
- From the M5, eastern Somerset or Bridgwater, leave the M5 at Junction 25 and use Taunton Gateway Park and Ride, TA3 5LU.
- From Wellington, West Somerset or the western side of Taunton, use Silk Mills Park and Ride, TA1 5AA.
- Park and Ride buses operate every 20 minutes on Saturdays and cost £1 per person, per journey. Both sites have a two-metre vehicle height restriction. The car parks remain open until 11pm, although visitors staying until the end of the event should check the return-bus timetable carefully. Alight at County Hall or the town centre and follow signs to Vivary Park.
By Car
- Visitors wishing to park in the town centre can use:
- High Street Car Park, TA1 3PJ
- Orchard Multi Storey Car Park, TA1 3PF
- Both are long-stay car parks within a short walk of Vivary Park. They are locked at 7pm on Saturdays, so vehicles must be collected promptly after the event. Do not use Ash Meadows Car Park: it will be closed on 4 July because of Somerset Armed Forces Day.
By Bus
- The nearest railway station is Taunton. From the station, allow approximately 20–25 minutes to walk to Vivary Park, particularly when the town centre is busy.
- Leave the station from the town-centre side and follow:
- Station Road → Bridge Street → North Street → High Street
- Continue through the pedestrianised High Street until you reach the main gates of Vivary Park at Upper High Street.
- Alternatively, take a local bus or taxi from the station to Castle Way. From Castle Way, walk through the town centre and continue along the High Street to the park. Services including the 28 and 28A connect Taunton railway station with Castle Way on Saturdays.
By Train
- Take a bus into Taunton and alight at one of the following stops:
- Castle Way or Town Centre: Walk through the pedestrianised High Street towards the park. Allow approximately 10 minutes.
- County Hall: Walk towards The Crescent and Mary Street, following signs for Vivary Park.
- Middleway: This is one of the closest local stops to the southern side of the park and is served by Service 97 on Saturdays.
- Please check the First Bus, Hatch Green Coaches or Traveline journey planner before travelling, as temporary event-day diversions may apply. Allow extra time for your journey and use public transport or Park and Ride wherever possible.
