The 675 Squadron 6 Army Air Corps, an Army Reserve unit based at Bishops Hull in Taunton will be back at Somerset Armed Forces Day on Saturday 4th July.
The Army Air Corps (AAC) Reserves form the reserve component of the British Army’s aviation branch, supporting frontline helicopter operations such as the Apache AH‑64E and Wildcat AH1. The AAC has one dedicated Reserve regiment, working alongside its seven Regular regiments to provide battlefield aviation support, reconnaissance, and ground operations.
Most Reserve roles focus on Ground Support, ensuring aircraft are ready for missions. This includes refuelling, re‑arming, communications, logistics, and running forward operating bases.
