A heartfelt thank‑you to everyone who joined us in Vivary Park today, an amazing 48,500 visitors! We hope you all enjoyed every moment of Somerset Armed Forces Day.
Our deepest thanks to everyone who made the event possible, from the food stalls and coffee stands to the re‑enactors, charities, the Red Arrows simulator, the replica Spitfire, our stage acts, the military vehicles, and all those representing the Armed Forces and blue‑light services, Apple FM Taunton and Prosound Solutions SW Limited To our sponsors and supporters, your contribution helped make this day the success it truly was.
And to our volunteers, you worked tirelessly behind the scenes and on the ground. Your dedication and energy brought the whole day together. We couldn’t have done it without you.
As Somerset Armed Forces Day draws to a close for this year, we look forward to welcoming you all again on Saturday, 3rd July 2027.

The committee will be taking some time off but we will be back together in September to start discussing Somerset Armed Forces Day 2027.
