Great news, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight have confirmed a time for their flypast on Saturday. At around 15:12 hrs an MkV Spitfire (serial no. AB910), will be making 3 x passes overhead subject to the correct weather conditions etc.
The Spitfire Mk Vb AB910 is one of the most iconic surviving aircraft of the Second World War, a true symbol of courage in the skies. Built in 1941, AB910 flew operational missions with RAF squadrons defending Britain and supporting Allied operations across Europe. Today, she continues to fly with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, honouring the pilots who once relied on her speed, agility and firepower. Every appearance of AB910 connects past and present, a living tribute to the bravery, sacrifice and engineering brilliance that defined the Spitfire’s legacy.
