Representatives of Somerset Cancer Services will have a pitch at our event on Saturday 4th July. Somerset Cancer Services refers to the network of cancer care and digital management systems operated by Somerset NHS Foundation Trust, which provides both clinical treatment and data‑driven coordination for cancer patients across the county.
Somerset NHS Foundation Trust delivers comprehensive cancer care at Musgrove Park Hospital and partner sites.
Their services cover every stage of the cancer journey — from diagnosis to treatment and recovery — supported by multidisciplinary teams of surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, and cancer nurse specialists.
Key features include rapid diagnosis and referral tracking from GP to first treatment, specialist treatment in surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. There are cancer nurse specialists offering emotional and practical support
They acces sholistic needs and wellbeing programmes including nutrition, exercise, fatigue and emotional health.
They treat a wide range of cancers, including breast, bowel, lung, skin, gynaecological, haematological, and urological cancers, as well as teenage and young‑adult cases.
