The Poppy of Honour Memorial will be at Armed Forces Day on the 6th July, located beside their stand on Armed Forces Day

Back in 2014 it was the brainchild of Terry Williams who wanted a permanent memorial to commemorate those killed or missing in action during the 1914 – 1918 War.

The Memorial contains 1,117,635 handwritten poppies, each one of them showing the rank, the name and the date of every British and Commonwealth Serviceman/Woman listed by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

Planning permission has been granted for The Poppy of Honour to be displayed in the Poppy Pavilion in Somerset Wood at Maidenbrook Country Park, Cheddon Fitzpaine, Taunton. Somerset.
