We have a Taunton based husband and wife team who take part in living history groups joining us on Saturday 6th July.

The 4th Dorsets HQ Coy 43rd Wessex brigade is a small living history group their display is a field office set a few miles behind the front lines and incorporates all the items you might expect to see, including typewriters radios field telephones etc, in a setting including their 1941 Austin K2 GS lorry and 1940 Morris 10 staff car.

The “Angels in green” display portrays the work done by the women’s voluntary service (WVS) during WW2.

Stop off at their pitches to get a feel of what it was like during WW2.
